Links
Here you have several links where you can find help, references, tools and examples that will be useful while you're making games.
If you're going to ask something in a forum, please remember to tell that you're using Allegro.pas.
Allegro
- Allegro
- The web site of the original Allegro library.
- AllegroGL
- An Allegro extension that allows to use OpenGL graphics and Allegro together. Note that current version of Allegro.pas doesn't support this extension natively so it will be a bit tricky to use it.
Game development
- Pascal Game Development
- A portal dedicated to game development with Pascal and Delphi. It has forums, articles, tutorials, etc.
- Allegro's online community
- The original Allegro's community. It has forums and a repository of games and tools made with Allegro.
Note: Remember that most of the community members are C and C++ programmers, so don't forget to tell that you're using Pascal.
Pascal programming
- Free Pascal
- Probably the most popular Pascal open source compiler.
- Lazarus
- A visual-style IDE for Free Pascal. The site has a forum and a lot of online documentation about Pascal programming.
- TurboExplorer
- Here you can find the mythical Turbo Delphi compiler for free and it's legal.
If you know a web site about Allegro or game development that would be in this list, please send a message.
